Kideo Land Junior Varsity serves as a Creche and Presschool. We are Multicultural and we offer Day Care and Schooling for children between the ages of 2 to 6 years of age. We promote childhood development and prepare kids to be fully educationally equipped by the time they go to school. Kideoland Junior Varsity has been operational since 2001 and is still going strong. We are registered with all the relevant authorities including Social Development, Dept of Health and Environment and Dept of Education. We cater for children from Eden Park, Palm Ridge, Greenfields, Phola Park, Thokoza, Sky City and all surrounding areas.

Liz has years of experience in teaching Grade R and specializes in Grade R. Liz has a passion for children and always ensures that all learners get individual attention.
Our primary objective is to ensure that each child receives proper supervision in a safe and friendly environment. To ensure that our place is home away from home - in other words "a peace of mind for parents". Our secondary objective is to bring out the best in each child. That all children should be fully equipped with proper early childhood competences by the time they go to school.
Our track record is maintaining or even exceeding the standard required by Primary Schools to ensure learners have the necessary skills required to cope in Big School - when they enter Grade one. Learners who have completed their Grad R Course at Kideo Land, are excelling when they start formal school.

School Readiness Forms An Integral Part Of Our Vision
Different programmes that are age related. We use abundance of perceptual games, toys, puzzles. Effective stimulation is given to each child. We keep our lessons very interactive - but age appropriate. We try to ensure that each child gets adequate attention by having a low toddler-teacher ratio.
Extensive + Exceptional School Readiness Programmes. Individual structured learning programmes. We offer a holistic approach to preschool education. Our programmes encourages each child to reach his/her full potential. Stimulating Preschool Programmes in accordance with weekly themes. Pencil control exercises; Pre-reading activities; Concept of numbers; Mind stimulating exercises and many more.
Our teacher has years of experience in teaching Grade R and teaches alongside the Principal who specializes in Grade R. Learners get individual attention. Various mathematical concepts are used, giving learners an excellent grounding and understanding of numeracy and concepts of numbers. We put a lot of emphasis on reading, spelling and maths. Our Reception Year Programme enables a smooth transition to formal school [Grade One].
We provide nutritional hot breakfast and lunch daily. Kids bring their own snacks to school daily. All food is cooked daily according to a daily menu. This menu is in accordance and approved by the Dept. of Health. Our cook has been cooking nutritious meals for our kids since 2008.
Every Friday we have various art activities for all classes e.g. cutting, pasting, painting, playdough and creating art projects. We have excursions for the children and we ensure that one of the excursions we undertake is an educational and informative trip.
We offer various extra mural activities including Ballroom Dance; Soccer; Computer Lessons; Physical Training and Exercises.
Kideo Land prides itself to lay down a strong educational foundation for our learners. We provide a solid and comprehensive Foundation Phase Programme with a proven success rate. We believe Foundational Schooling sets your child up for future academic success. Learner's activity books are sent to parents twice monthly in order for parents to monitor their children's progress.
